PLATEC Membership Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account on the PLATEC Ecosystem Portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or apply for membership.
2. Free Membership & Eligibility
PLATEC membership is currently 100% free of charge for individuals, students, developers, and tech entrepreneurs in Plateau State. Membership is subject to administrative review. PLATEC reserves the right to approve, disapprove, or terminate membership applications based on profile completeness and alignment with the association's goals.
3. Member Code of Conduct
Members must maintain professional integrity and respect within the community. PLATEC enforces a zero-tolerance policy against spam, harassment, hate speech, and intellectual property theft. Members participating in workshops, mentorship networks, or using the jobs board must conduct themselves ethically.
4. Data Sharing & Privacy
We respect your privacy. By registering, you understand that your name, organization, position, and LGA of residence will be displayed in the Member Directory visible to other active, logged-in PLATEC members. Your phone number and email will only be accessible to other members to facilitate direct professional collaboration and networking. We do not sell or share your personal contact details with third-party advertising companies.
5. Use of Resources & Downloads
E-books, workshop presentations, and report documents downloaded from this portal are for personal capacity building and educational purposes only. Redistribution, white-labeling, or selling PLATEC resources without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Account Suspensions & Termination
PLATEC administration reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate community rules, display false credentials, or engage in suspicious activities on the portal. Approved accounts can be toggled to pending status at the discretion of system administrators.
7. Modifications to Agreement
PLATEC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately. Continued use of the member portal constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
